Fantasy Premier League Top Points Scorers 2017/18

In this article, Nekzad Bajan looks at the top points scorers in Fantasy Premier League at the half way point of the season. These players must be considered when you are picking your Sportito XI for the Premier League contests.

#1 Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

The Egyptian is the top point-scorer in the game in his first season with the Reds. Only Harry Kane is ahead of him in the top goalscorer charts. Salah is rarely dropped by the gaffer and I do not see a better attacking pick from the Liverpool attack.

#2 Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)

The Englishman is having one of his best PL seasons. Sterling has a career-high of 12 goals and 7 assists in the league. He has not been dropped by Guardiola since Gameweek 11 and looks to be the best City attacking option considering minutes and form.

#3 Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City)

De Bruyne is one of the best players in the league and sits in 3rd place for fantasy points. The Belgian has started every game for City and is the most creative of the lot. He has 6 goals and 7 assists to his name and all his performances this season have looked sensational.

#4 Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

Kane is by far, one of the best strikers the Premier League. His hat-trick at Turf Moor last weekend saw the Englishman equal Alan Shearer’s record of most domestic league goals in a calendar year. He now looks set to break the record with his confidence and scintillating form.

#5 David Silva (Manchester City)

The Spaniard has has undoubtedly succeeded in playing City’s play-maker role. He has had some fantastic goals this season with 5 to his name alongside 8 assists.

#6 Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

The City no.10 has had a fantastic season as well. Not starting in 6 matches for City hasn’t stopped him from scoring 12 goals and providing 4 assists this campaign. He has been used majorly in the Champions League but manages to get on the score sheet most of the time when he starts in the PL.

#7 Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur)

Eriksen has had a decent start to the season. He has delivered 5 goals with 5 assists till now compared to his 8 and 20 respectively of last season. Spurs have had a bad time recently but look to be back on track. He can get on that score sheet more often once Spurs are back strong.

#8 David de Gea (Manchester United)

Being the only defensive asset in this list, the Spaniard has had one of his best seasons with the Reds. In just 19 weeks, De Gea has 10 clean sheets, making 71 saves. He has played a very important role in United’s back-line with those numerous injuries coming in and looks to be performing well consistently.

#9 Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City)

Mahrez has been playing some stunning football this season. The Algerian has been the best player for the Foxes this campaign by a mile delivering 5 goals and 8 assists. Leicester are placed 8th on the PL table and there is no better attacking asset than this man from the Foxes currently.

#10 Leroy Sane (Manchester City)

The left-winger has proven to be a great attacking asset in the land of FPL this season. He has got many more starts than last season and has proven himself every time. With 6 goals and 8 assists, he is another fantastic option to get into the City attack.
